Belmont Building is currently engaged on a range of domestic and commercial projects.
These images show a single storey extension our team is constructing for a client in South East London.
The original brief was to provide a utility area, wetroom and cloakroom.
Working with the client and the local planning office, we drew up a project specification; obtained the necessary consents and
produced a schedule of work. The first stage included site clearance; construction of the foundations; provision of access to services and erection of the basic structure of the floor, walls and roof. Next, the roof was insulated and tiled; the exterior rendered; and the windows, door and rooflight installed to flood the interior with light. Now that the extension was weather tight and secure, the 'first fix' electrics and plumbing could be installed and access knocked through from the original house. The units and Belfast sink were fitted in the utility room and the first stage of decoration - inside and out - took place. Work could also commence on laying the foundations of the new patio.
